Who we are

Arborivo is a plant and nature encyclopedia. You can contact us through our contact form.

Information we collect

• Usage data — pages visited, approximate device/browser information, and similar technical signals needed to run and secure the site.
• Cookies and similar technologies — necessary cookies always; analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent. See our Cookie preferences.
• Contact messages — name, email, subject, and message content you submit through the contact form.
• Account data (future) — if we launch member accounts, we may collect credentials (such as email and password hash), profile details you choose to provide, and account activity needed to operate membership features.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the encyclopedia.

Accounts and membership (planned)

Member accounts are not required to browse Arborivo today. When accounts become available, we will use account data only for authentication, account settings, and features you opt into. You will be able to update or delete account information through account tools or by contacting us, subject to legal retention needs.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted processors (hosting, security, analytics, or advertising partners) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Legal requests may require disclosure where required by law.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, contact messages while we handle them, and account data while an account remains active (once launched). Aggregated or anonymized statistics may be kept longer.

Children

Arborivo is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Arborivo may be hosted or accessed from different countries. By using the site, you understand that information may be processed in the country where our hosting provider operates.

Changes

We may update this policy as Arborivo grows (including when membership launches). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
